Busisiwe Primary School Introduction, SOUTH AFRICA
Students in Grade 3 at Busisiwe Primary School in Soweto (South Africa) have recorded a short introduction to their school. You can hear about the subjects they study, what sports they play, and listen to the school song. They have tried to do the interviews in English, but watch out for some Zulu!

It was fantastic to hear the students from Soweto share their thoughts on life at school. I was amazed at how similar the stories are even though the students are at opposite ends of the world! We listened to the school song and felt the voices of the children who can sing so beautifully. It sounded like singing in this way was something that came naturally to the children and seemed very different to the way we sing. We look forward to learning some Zulu words from the children at Busiswe. Thanks for sending through your podcast. Claire
